YUNG KAYO
Born November 29, 2003, in Washington D.C., Yung Kayo started rapping at age 9 after his older brother bought a microphone. His breakout single "Glitch" caught the attention of Young Thug, leading to a deal with YSL Records at just 16 years old.
Known for fashion-forward references and eccentric vocal delivery, Kayo blends trap, cloud rap, and alternative hip-hop into something distinctly his own. His debut album DFTK earned critical acclaim, with collaborations alongside Young Thug, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Yeat, and Eartheater.
Now independent and based in Los Angeles, Kayo continues to push boundaries with projects like Holy Grails and SLATT LEAKZ — cementing his place as one of the most innovative voices in modern rap.
